Everything you need to know about using CS2.market.
Getting Started
Create an Account
Click 'Sign in with Steam' to create your CS2.market account. We use Steam's official OpenID — we never see your Steam password.
Set Up Your Profile
After signing in, you'll be prompted to enter your Steam trade link and email address. Your trade link is required for sending and receiving items. You can find it in your Steam privacy settings.
Add Funds
You can add funds to your site balance by selling skins, or by depositing directly via bank card. Your balance is displayed in the navbar and can be used to purchase any skin on the marketplace.
Buying Skins
Browse the Marketplace
Use the Buy page to explore thousands of CS2 skins. Filter by weapon type, exterior, rarity, and price range. Use the search bar to find specific skins quickly.
Inspect Items
Click on any skin to see detailed information including float value, paint seed, and price history. Use the 'Inspect in Game' button to preview the skin directly in CS2.
Add to Cart
Click the Buy button on any listing to add it to your cart. You can add multiple items from different pages — your cart persists as you browse.
Checkout
When you're ready, open the cart from the navbar and click Checkout. Review your items, complete payment, and you'll receive a Steam trade offer with your purchased skins.
Selling Skins
Open the Sell Page
Navigate to the Sell page from the navbar. Your CS2 inventory will load automatically, showing all your tradable items sorted by value.
Select Items
Click on the items you want to sell. Each card shows our buy price (85% of market value) and the current market price. Selected items appear in the 'You Offer' bar at the top.
Choose Payout Method
On the right panel, select how you'd like to receive your payment. Site balance is instant. Bank card and crypto payouts are coming soon.
Confirm & Trade
Click the Sell button and accept the trade offer from our bot on Steam. Once the trade is confirmed, your payment is processed immediately.
Trade Links
What is a Trade Link?
A Steam trade link is a unique URL that allows others to send you trade offers without being on your friends list. It's required for all transactions on CS2.market.
How to Find It
Open Steam → click your profile name → Privacy Settings → scroll to the bottom → under 'Third-Party Sites', find your Trade URL. Click 'Create new URL' if you don't have one.
Setting It Up
Copy your full trade URL and paste it in your CS2.market profile settings. You can update it at any time from the Profile page. If you generate a new trade URL on Steam, remember to update it here too.
Safety & Security
Steam Guard
Make sure Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator is enabled on your account. This adds an extra layer of security to your trades and prevents unauthorized access.
Trade Confirmations
All trades require confirmation via the Steam mobile app. Never confirm a trade you didn't initiate. Our bot will only send offers that match your sell/buy requests.
Our Bot Account
Our official trade bot is the only account that will send you offers from CS2.market. The bot's profile will be linked on this page once configured. Never accept offers from accounts claiming to be us.
Scam Prevention
We will never ask for your Steam password, API key, or authenticator codes. All communication happens through this website. Report any suspicious activity to our support team.
Pending Balance
What is Pending Balance?
When you sell skins on CS2.market, the payment enters a pending state for 8 days before it becomes available in your main balance. Each sale has its own independent countdown.
Why the 8-Day Hold?
The hold period protects both buyers and sellers against fraud, chargebacks, and trade reversals. It mirrors Steam's own trade hold system and ensures all transactions are fully settled.
How It Works
Each sell creates a separate pending entry. For example, if you sell a skin for ₾200 on March 20 and another for ₾100 on March 21, the first unlocks on March 28 and the second on March 29 — they never merge.
