What is Pending Balance?
When you sell skins on CS2.market, the funds from your sale are placed into a pending balance for a hold period of 8 days before they become available in your main balance.
Why 8 days?
The 8-day hold period is a security measure that protects both buyers and sellers. It aligns with Steam's own trade hold system and gives time to verify that all transactions are legitimate and items have been properly transferred.
How does it work?
- Each time you sell a skin, a new pending balance entry is created with its own 8-day countdown.
- Multiple sales create separate entries — they don't merge together.
- Once the 8-day period is over, that specific entry's amount automatically moves to your available balance.
- You can track all your pending entries by hovering over your balance in the navbar.
Example
March 20: You sell an AK-47 for ₾200 → Pending entry created, unlocks March 28
March 21: You sell a Glock for ₾100 → New pending entry, unlocks March 29
March 28: The ₾200 moves to your available balance. The ₾100 still has 1 day left.
March 29: The ₾100 moves to your available balance.
Can I speed it up?
The hold period cannot be shortened. This is a fixed security measure that applies equally to all users and all transactions.
